JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Title : PS Consultant
Experience : 6+ years
Location : Bangalore
Educational Qualifications : BE/B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Professional Services team helps customers properly design, deploy, and configure their solution. You will function as a senior technical individual contributor, providing onsite and remote assistance directly with the customer’s personnel and project teams. You will serve as the subject matter expert providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives to ensure a successful and rapid implementation. You will also contribute to the development of new features within our products, work on complex technical problems, and provide solutions which are highly innovative.
This is a very technical, hands-on role and the Consultant will be required to develop and maintain an expertise on products and the integrated platforms deployed within our customers’ networks.

Your Impact

Meeting, installing and deploying Security solutions as outlined by the statement of work on customer infrastructure
Interact with the Security Support team to troubleshoot and diagnose product questions or issues
Ensure client needs are met and deliverables produced on time according to specified project deliverables/scope
Document and template necessary documentation packages for customers as defined
Script and automate repetitive tasks
Work on a team or lead a team depending upon the specified project
Provide complex solutions in customer environments and execute/document said solutions by self or as a team leader
Demonstrate the robustness and the value of the solution
Other tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business
Providing technical coordination to customers before and after-sales, manage all product-related queries and address them on time
Provide developers with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or products
Analyze customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements and establish best practices, being the trusted advisor
Liaise with the sales department to win new business and upsell

Your Experience

Must Have:

In depth knowledge of Internet protocols(TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and DNS)
Must have hands-on experience in the Linux operating systems
Hands on experience in building/integrating security solutions in large environments, like Bluecoat, Forcepoint, F5 and etc.

Security Support team to troubleshoot and diagnose product questions or issues
Meeting, installing and deploying Security solutions as outlined by the statement of work on customer infrastructure

Must Have:

Ability to effectively juggle and manage many different tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated project management and leadership skill is preferred
Scripting experience – Python, Powershell and Bash is preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience in troubleshooting firewalls and security devices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Architecture and delivery with Enterprise and/or Service Provider customers where virtualization environments such as KVM, VMWare and etc.
